Water Logged

Here I am at work, between feedings, and all I am thinking about is what a fun, crazy, hysterical and beautiful day that I had yesterday!!! It was the end to a eight nights off of work, however, I did have to come back to work last night. Thanks to a special friend whose birthday is coming up and wanted to celebrate it with her friends, she came up with a brilliant idea to take the girls out on her family boat for some water fun in the sun. The weather was beautiful and the company was wonderful. There was seven of us gal pals (one male companion, who never had a chance, but who put up with all of our shananigans--and did the driving--we did keep him happy with feeding him lots of delicious homemade sugar cookies, though!!!!!!!). I have never enjoyed such a great fun-filled day in a long time. We had good, nurtritious food to eat. We were able to try our skills at wake boarding, skiing and innertubing (or is it intertubing?). I did not dare try the wake
boarding but I did go all out on the water skiiing, but not out all the way--after three hearfilled tries, I gave up--reluctanly I might add. Afterall, I am only 50, I did learn how to water ski at the Lake of the Ozarks and I was pretty darn good, if I do say so myself!!! But I failed. Ah, but I did do great with my two other companions on the innertubing. We had such a blast!!! Pics were taken and will be put on my blog eventually--I hope (Rhea, ?????) so stay tuned my fellow bloggers. It was so neat to spend the day with the girls. I truly enjoyed it and a big shout out to my fellow birthday celebrators--you are the funnest, sweetest, coolest, neatest friends I could ever be blessed with---I need to stop now, I am having trouble writing do to the collection of moisture in my eyes. I love you all--thanks to all of you for making my day so super. By the way, I made it to work by 7:20.

Sounds like you had fun.

I found you from Rhea's blog but I would have to say you're doing great. I am relatively new to the blogging thing as well.

Can't wait to read more in the future.
