The Week at the End

Well it is Sunday, which is almost Monday, which is the beginning of the new week and just one day after the end of the end--are you with me on this? This past week has been a good one--uneventful--thank goodness. I was to work overtime last Monday but due to the lost overtime sign-up sheet, the team leader on the day shift had no idea who signed up. I still came to work since I received no phone call telling me that I was not needed. I was not needed. It was Nurses's Day that day, so at least for my trouble of coming into work, I got a free orange julius--yum,yum!! At least I was able to be home with the boys and watch 24. I worked on Wenesday and Thursday, off Friday and I worked last night and tonight. I was able to go out to lunch with my girlfriends, Patty and Rhea, to "Sweet Cakes" which if you have not been there, you must try it out!! Delicious food and you have got to save room for dessert--great homemade cookies of every creation!!!! Of course my non-sleep days were filled withe am excercising followed by running errands (trying to get things together for Ryan and I for the stake trek in a couple of weeks). Friday night, Melchor and I had a date night. We went to "Soup and Salad" for dinner, followed by window shopping followed by Nielsens for some wonderful frozen custard. Saturday morning Melchor and I hit the date scene again by going to the temple. On the way home, we went to the market and came home and we fixed a very nice brunch for the three of us. We ended up spending the day just relaxing around the house. Yesterday and today was filled with sleep and Melchor cooking his famous bbqd chicken!! All in all, a great end of a great week.
