Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!! I just love thanksgiving. I enjoy being with friends and family and enjoying the feasting. It is the one time of the year that we can sit down and think about all the blessings that we have recieved and to be grateful for what we have. On that note, I want to express the things that I am sooooo thankful for. Here it goes:

1. I am thankful for the gospel. I have been a member of the church all of my life and I can not imagine what my life would be without it. It is so wonderful to know that I am a child of God, I am his daughter. I am so thankful for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and for the atonement.

2. I am thankful for my friends. I have been blessed with so many fun, sweet, kind, thoughtful, loving friends who inspire me, help me and care about me. I love you all.

3. I am thankful for my family--a wonderful, cute, loving, strong, smart, honorable husband and two wonderful sons who I am so proud of. I have loving parents who would do anything for us and of course my two sisters and their families, not to mention all of the extended family members. Families can be together forever--for that knowledge, I am eternally grateful for.

4. I am thankful for a job. I love being a nurse. I love taking care of the babies. I will be working til I am dead.

5. I am grateful for this country. I love this country and all of its freedoms.

6. I am grateful for my health..I am so glad to be blessed with good health so that I can work and be able to serve others.

7. I am grateful for knowledge, for that is why we are here on earth, to gain knowledge, for that is all we will be taking back with us after we die.

In closing this blog entry, I would like to end with a very classy, thoughtful little poem:

May your stuffing be tasty,
May your turkey be plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Never have a lump,
May your yams be delicious
and your pies take the prize
and may your thanksgiving dinner
stay off your thighs.

May you and yours have a very Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Susan! And Jeremy sounded good in his letter!
