Happy Birthday America

The fourth of July has always been one of my favorite holidays. Growing up, as a family we would spend the holiday at Lake Arrowhead. We would also spend most of the day at my granparents house swimming and have a bbq. Today we will spend the afternoon with our dear friends the Cox family--swim and bbq, YAHOO!! As I rode my bike around the neighborhood this morning, I noticed the flags, or rather lack of flags, hanging outside the homes. I thought to myself, what is the problem here? Don't people realize that today is the fourth? Aren't they celebrating the birth of the greates nation in the world? Do people realize how Heavenly Father had his had in creating this land of freedom? Do people even realize what freedoms we have, how lucky we are to be living in this great country? Our nation might be having a hard time right now, but we are so blessed. I love this nation. So happy birthday, America, land of the free and home of the brave. Everyone enjoy your bbq, family, friends and the fireworks and be greatful for this land of ours>
