Recuperating

That is the perfect word!!!!! Recuperating from what you might be wondering? Let's see:
A car accident-for once in my car accident career, it was not my fault. A car just turned in front of me as I was going straight. It was scary, at least no one was hurt, just our cars. And for those of you that are wondering which car it was that got injured, let us just say that the Cox family and us no longer have the same car.

Thanksgiving: It was a great day. Our family went to my cousins' house for dinner. It was great to see everyone---since we have not been together since last Christmas. Pigged out royally and enjoyed it immensely. The best part was to bring home some leftovers, oh yeah!!!!

Black Friday--ok, back in the day, my sisters, mom and I would get up at 6 am to be at the store early before it opened at 7. And I thought that that was early. May how the times have changed!!!! Being so tired after eating (triptophine, you know), I took a four hour nap-got up at 10:30 and Melchor and I hit Wal-Mart and the Mall. What a mess!
We lasted a couple of hours before heading home. Got to bed at 2:30 am and slept until
8. To be even more crazier, Melchor and I hit the stores again!!! It was a fun filled day with a good sport. I did get a nap today but I am still paying for the weird sleeping pattern that I had today--even for the night shifter.

Because of being preoccupied last Sat., I was not able to take Ryan birthday shopping (He turned 17 on the 20th), we might try it again tomorrow. Looks like I will still be recuperating for awhile.
