Today is Easter. I love Easter. It is spring. The weather is simply beautiful. This past week, as a family, I have been trying to review the last week of Christs' mortal life here on earh. We have read and discussed all of the events that occured leading up to his crucifixtion and resurrection. I am so greatful for my savior, Jesus Christ and what he did for me, for all of us. I will have him on my mind and in my heart on this special day.
When my grandma died a few years ago, my mom gave me a picture of myself when I was about 2 years old. I am wearing a hat, gloves, white patent leather mary jane shoes and a very fancy white lacey, frilly dress and I am carrying an easter basket. My mom tells me that that picture was my grandmas favorite. That picture was taken on Easter Sunday at my grandparents house. Every Easter Sunday, we would have three easter egg hunts--one at our house, and the other two were at each of my grandparents house. We would have a huge easter feast with the entire family. Such found memories. I love Easter
